Rare Recolours
In this section we take a small step back from the purely competitive side of HMS and dive into a collector's paradise. The term "rare" is subjective, but in this case we mean anything very difficult to get your hands on even during the time when HMS was in production. Generic Random Booster or Lucky Box recolours don't make the cut.
Note: If you notice something listed here that doesn't have an accompanying photograph, feel free to send me a message through WBO or Discord.
Random Booster Secret Rare
First up are the "Secret-Rare" versions of Random Booster Beyblades. These are rather rare recolours that can very very uncommonly be found in Random Boosters. These recolours are typically of a given RBs Prize Beyblade. In many cases, beyond just being alternative colours of the rarest Beyblade in the RB, they also feature unique CWDs.
Secret-Rare Random Booster recolours are the following:
Wyvern DJ (Green, RB ACT1)
Einstein MS (Fuschia, RB ACT2)
Dragoon MF (Fire Red, RB ACT3)
Dranzer MF (Black, RB ACT4)
Jiraiya MS (Red, RB ACT5)
Slash Riger MS (Dark Blue, Lucky Box 2005)

Tournament Prize Limited
As the name implies, tournament limited recolours are earned at tournaments. With one exception, these recolours are given out as prizes for tournament participation and victory. While these are on average not as rare as the previously mentioned limited recolours, the more prestigious the victory/event, the more rare the recolour.
Recolours that were earned as tournament prizes are the following:
Gaia Dragoon MS (Gold/Silver/Light Blue)
Driger MS (Gold/Silver/Light Blue)
Draciel MS (Gold/White/Light Blue)
Draciel MS (Fire Red Version, G1 Tournament Prize)
Draciel MS (Thunder Yellow Version, G1 Tournament Prize)
Draciel MS (Prototype, G1 Freebie)
Dragoon MS (Gold/Silver/Light Blue)
Wyvern DJ (Gold/Silver/Bronze, G1 Tournament Prize)

Event Limited
These beyblades were earned in-person, rather than remotely. To get these beyblades you had to attend a specific event where they were being distributed. Because these events were short-lived, these recolours tend to not come around too often.
Recolours earned via event attendance are the following:
Gaia Dragoon MS (White Version, Expert Tournament Limited)
Gaia Dragoon MS (Pearl-White Version, W Campaign Limited)
Wyvern DJ (Dark Blue Version,)
Dranzer MS (Suzaku Red Version, Event Limited)
Einstein MS (Dark Green Version, World Hobby Fair Limited)
Wolborg MS (Black Version, Bombing Gold Cup Limited)
Phantom Fox MS (Yellow Version, Bakutenou District Rep. Battle Limited)
Phantom Fox MS (Red Version, Expert Tournament Limited)
Wolborg MS (Black)
Corocoro Limited Lucky Boxes
These recolours were earned via a mail-in campaign through the Corocoro comic. A very limited amount were made (perhaps even sub-10 in some cases), and they were given out to readers who were able to mail in the most Corocoro barcodes by a given date.
Recolours exclusive to this style of campaign are the following:
Wyvern DJ (White Version)
Dranzer MS (Light Silver Version)
Dragoon MSUV (Gold Version)
Einstein MS (Gold Version)
